Canvas Stretching, Mounting, & Embellishing

Van Gogh Again provides stretching and embellishing services for prints on canvas. It's a big convenience to have the printing, stretching, and embellishing completed under one roof.

Canvas Stretching

Van Gogh Again has custom designed its stretcher bars with rounded edges to help prevent canvas cracking. We offers two types of stretcher bars: Regular Bars and Gallery Wrap Bars.

• Regular Bars (Thin Bars) - The print is stretched around .75" x 1.75" stretcher bars and is stapled on the sides. This method is used for prints that will framed.
  Price: $5.50 per Linear Foot
• Gallery Wrap Bars (Thick Bars) - The print is stretched around 1.25" x 1.75" stretcher bars. The image is wrapped around the side edges and the canvas is stapled on the back. Gallery wrapped images add a more contemporary look and prevents the need for framing.
  Price: $6.00 per Linear Foot

Mounting on Board

Canvas and paper prints can be mounted onto masonite hard board. We use an archival, acid free, double sided, adhesive to mount the print to masonite.
Price: $5.00 per Linear Foot.

Embellishing

Embellishing is the process of adding texture to your print in order to create the illusion of brushwork and or palette knife marks. Contact us for more information.
